　　虚构剧《贴身保镖》以政坛为背景，聚焦高层人物，讲述了英勇但易怒的退伍老兵戴维·巴德（理查德·麦登饰演）就职于伦敦警察厅要员保护局，在被派去保护野心勃勃而有影响力的内政大臣茱莉娅·蒙塔古（凯莉·霍威饰演）后，因职责与信念之间的冲突而左右为难。而本应保她安全的保镖，是否会成为她最大的威胁？
