　　游戏改编剧《光环 Halo》确定由Showtime预定10集首季，Otto Bathurst负责执导部份集，此剧于定于2021年播出。　　本项目由13年开始启动，但期间动作不多，在14年XBox En ertainment Studios闭门后转交给Showtime开发，历时4年终于成功发展成正剧。《光晕》系列讲述了26世纪时，人类与外星种族之间的史诗级宇宙战争。　　在《美国众神 American Gods》有演出的Pablo Schreiber饰演核心人物士官长/ Master Chief，他是人类阻止外星大军「星盟」毁灭文化的唯一希望。新晋演员Yerin Ha饰演16岁的Quan Ah，精明﹑胆大的她在殖民星的关键时刻遇上士官长。　　Natascha McElhone会饰演两个角色，第一个是Catherine Halsey博士，她创造了超级士兵 - 斯巴达战士，同时她会饰演人造智能Cortana，它可能是人类能否生存下去的关键。Bokeem Woodbine饰演Soren-066，他是个道德观复杂的私掠船船长，即将与在军中时的军士长兼前好友 - 士官长有所冲突。Shabana Azmi饰演Margaret Parangosky上将，美国海军情报局的领导。　　Bentley Kalu饰演斯巴达战士Vannak-134，有强化神经机器的他是个童年时期就被征召的超级士兵，士官长的副手﹑Natasha Culzac饰演斯巴达战士Riz-028，她是个专注﹑专业的士兵，犹如杀戮机器一般﹑Kate Kennedy饰演有胆识﹑好奇心重的斯巴达战士新人Kai-125。
